5. Don’t just stick with Google you can rank your local business in Bing, Apple Maps, and other local search engines too.

Local Content for Local People!

The next stage is to create more content, you can get ideas from the keyword research you should have completed, see tip 4 above. So this could be blog posts, case studies, local guides, local resource lists, local event listings etc.

Promote your local content on your social media, on Instagram use local hashtags and post location - you can also share your posts in local Facebook groups.

Another strategy is to contact locally based blogs, local organisations or charities for guest post opportunities.
